7 Somatic Tools for Narcissistic Abuse Recovery

Discover 7 simple body-based practices to help your nervous system finally feel safe again — so you can stop scanning, bracing, and surviving and start rebuilding the life where you feel safe in your own skin.

In This Free Guide, You'll Learn:

  • How to interrupt the exhausting cycle of scanning, bracing, and hypervigilance — using a 30-second orienting practice that gives your nervous system direct sensory evidence that the threat has passed.

  • Why "deep breathing" can actually make dysregulation worse — and the specific exhale-focused breath pattern that activates your parasympathetic nervous system within just a few cycles.

  • The simple self-touch technique that signals safety from within — so your body can begin receiving care from itself, even when trust feels complicated and co-regulation feels far away.

  • A gentle 5-10 minute regulation sequence you can use anytime you feel activated — combining all 7 tools into one practice that helps your body learn, over time, that ease is actually available.

What Other's Are Saying After Getting The Guide...

I have read so much about narcissistic abuse and understood it completely in my mind. What I did not have was anything to do with my body when it flooded or shut down. This guide gave me that. Seven tools I could actually reach for in the hard moments. Simple enough to use when I had almost nothing left. I keep it on my phone and come back to it constantly.

I did not understand why my body was doing what it was doing until I read this. The descriptions of each tool (what it is, why it works, what it actually feels like) finally gave me language for my own experience. And then I tried the orienting practice and something genuinely shifted. In five minutes. I did not know that was possible.

A PERSONAL NOTE

Hey there!

I'm Jess, and I help survivors of narcissistic abuse rebuild safety, self-trust, and identity so they can stop surviving and start living a life that is finally, unapologetically their own.

But it hasn't always been this way…

I spent twenty years married, and it ended when I was discarded for someone else. In the months after, I couldn't sleep. I had no appetite. Some days I couldn't get out of bed. I felt anxiety I can only describe as an elephant sitting on my chest.

I had been a highly capable, functioning person my entire life. Suddenly I had no capacity for any of it, and I had no idea why.

It took time before I understood I was living through narcissistic abuse. And it took even longer before I learned the piece that changed everything: understanding what happened to me was never going to be enough to help my body feel safe again.

My body needed its own kind of support, separate from anything my mind could figure out on its own. These seven tools are where I started. They're the same practices I still use, and the ones I now teach to every survivor I work with.

See you inside,

Jess
